Been away from the computer for a few days, as I accompanied my daughter to Boston to audition for Boston University's theatre program.

Almost didn't make it; anything that could go wrong, did, as we tried to leave Thursday. I'm not big on making people do anything, including my own child, but I told her we have to try to at least get to the airport and see if they'd have seats for us after all, or I was afraid she'd regret it. I said a prayer en route to the airport that if this trip isn't meant to be for some reason, perhaps to save us from harm, that we won't be able to get seats. We got seats and ended up getting to the hotel in Boston at 3:00 AM. Oy vey.

Boston University is her holy grail. It is VERY hard to get accepted there; it's even harder to figure out how to afford it. :eyes: The smaller liberal arts college she's been accepted to may be easier to get a scholarship for, but BU is definitely the holy grail.

I ask that good vibes be sent her way for acceptance into BU (simply being accepted will go a LONG way for her self-confidence) and, if it's for her Highest Good, that a miracle happen regarding a scholarship and/or other financing.

Nearly every college to which she has applied has an annual tuition that is greater than my annual income. Oy vey again. ;)
