Uneven application of a rule

this is SidDithers' Sig line:
Obama's job approval among Democrats is 79% (Gallup - Sep 5-11). Obama's job approval at DU is 29%. DU is not the real world

I have alerted on it, and noted that it is a call out to those on DU who do not approve of Obama's performance. Yet, it still stands.

This was my Sig line
Obama's job approval among his supporters on DU is 100%. Obama's job approval in America is 39%.(Gallup - Sep 12th) Are Obama's DU supporters not in the real world?

I was asked by a MOD to remove it, because it was a call out. I agreed to stop posting till the matter was resolved, and asked that if I were to be forced to give up the sig line, then SidDithers should also have to do the same thing, and for the same reasons.

Again, his remains, but mine was removed without my participation, and the MOD took out the address to my dead son's memorial blog in the process.

Aside from the fact that this was callous, it's was nothing less than an unfair application of a rule. I don't need the sig line back, but SidDithers should have to take his down, immediately.

1. I removed your sig line because you were politely asked to change it and you refused
You are welcome to replace it with something more appropriate.

With regards to your complaint about SidDithers' sig line, it seems to me that there is a clear difference between his and yours.

SidDithers' sig line makes no reference to specific groups of DU members. It notes three facts: Obama's job approval among Democrats (in the real world), Obama's job approval at DU, and the fact that DU is not the real world.

Your sig line, on the other hand, invents a statistic about a specific group of DU members ("Obama's job approval among his supporters on DU is 100%") and then uses it to attack that group by name ("Are Obama's DU supporters not in the real world?)

If SidDithers' sig line said, "Obama's job approval among his critics on DU is 0%. Obama's job approval in America is 39%. (Gallup - Sep 12th) Are Obama's DU critics not in the real world?" then I'd say you'd have a point, and he would be asked to change his sig line. But that's not what it says.
