Our first far right 3rd party candidate jumps into the 2012 Presidential race.
Radio talk show host Laurie Roth says she will be running for the Presidency on the American Independent Party Ticket.

From the article linked below.

"Laurie Roth from Washington state is running not as a Republican, but as a self-described patriot and conservative on the American Independent Party ticket. She says she's already on the ballot in California, and will take steps to make sure her name is listed in the other 49 states."

Here is her agenda.

Roth says the president forced an unconstitutional health-care bill, sued and stood against his own governors, threatened and targeted coal plants for closure, breached the War Powers Act of 1973 by putting America into an illegal war in Libya, insulted and turned against Israel, and has failed to secure the nation's borders.

As far as her goals as president, Roth says, "I will overhaul our entire tax system."

She's looking to abolish all current taxes and institute a federal 2 percent point-of-purchase consumption tax she believes will create millions of jobs.

"No group will be exempt," she says, claiming annual collected revenues would be in the range of $10 to $20 trillion, "while citizens are liberated from massive, controlling tax oppression."

All other taxes on income, payroll, capital gains, gasoline, property and estates would be eradicated under her plan.

Another pledge by Roth is to become totally energy independent in four years.

"America will be the largest exporter of energy in the world," says Roth. "Disconnect from OPEC. Employ 20 million people in energy infrastructure jobs natural gas, oil, nuclear, solar and alternative fuels."

Roth also says she's looking to restore America's international relationships and image, institute fair-trade agreements and stand against Islamic fundamentalism and radicalism.

She's also unabashedly promoting Judeo-Christian values.

"This includes our nation's historical strength from God and the Holy Bible – including Christian principles – prayer, freedom, exceptionalism and supporting a movement away from regulation, taxation and litigation. Those who disagree are not assailed."

13. Here's how it works:
Farmer buys seed for a crop. 2%.
Mill purchases seed. 2%
Bakery purchases flour. 2%
Restaurant purchases buns. 2%
Restaurant sells hamburger. 2%

On that hamburger purchase, you will be paying 2% in direct taxes, but every ingredient will have been taxed all the way back to its origins, every time it changed hands. Think about some thing with a huge supply chain, say an automobile.... every part would have a 2% tax added to its cost, for all but the most vertical industries and products.

8. $10 to $20 trillion?
How little research does she have to have done to say something like that, when you consider the fact that the ENTIRE GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT of the United States is only $14 trillion a year? She's literally suggesting that the government would take all the money in the US and then some.

14. Who the fuck is she?
She watches NASCAR, too. Anyone who can be dazzled by cars going in circles shouldn't be president.

Oh, plus all of her pledges suck, and she's a birther? Case closed. She's a loser.

because of other politicians 'God in the Mix' delusions. So that aspect of this nutter is common ground with other nutters in politics, really. I mean, you understand that ALL of the dogma spouting bigots are just as crazed as this one, don't you? There is no mitigation for crazy bigotry. None.

22. Any time that God is the foundation of what they push, it needs to be rejected.
Well ... I could not care less about their "In God we Trust" nonsense. Unless it is to mock them for "masturbating" in public.

When these right wing whack jobs invoke the bible, they generally tend to demonstrate an amazing misunderstanding of everything Jesus is alleged to have said.

26. Her plan for vthe economy sounds whackier than Cain's 9-9-9 plan
She wants to do away with income tax, payroll tax, and every other kind of tax except for a consumption tax. This sounds like a giant national sales tax that will hit the poor the hardest and leave the billionaires paying relatively little. How would this plan fund a complex and giant federal government? What would happen to social security and medicare? This time, if Romney wins the nomination, we just might see a 3rd party candidate. But this one sounds even crazier than the Republicans and I don't see this degree of extremism winning much support. But then I've misjudged the degree of insanity of the Tea Party before.

A pack of God-State Theocrats. I'm pretty sure they'd like to remake the US into the King James version of Iran. Burkas included.
