Maddow on Cain
Glad folks are catching up...I suspected this for quite awhile: we are being PUNK'D by the Cain campaign!

What else could it be..

1. Yes - she thinks his campaign is really some kind of weird performance art.

2. She's being generous, he's an opportunist
but happens to be entertaining.

The repukes and what they've done to the US are not entertaining.

The fact that Cain and pranks might give cover to Romney is not entertaining

3. Rachel is right! Herman Cain is "Punkin'" America................
This is some sort of social experiment or performance art! And it's brilliant!

Stephen Colbert couldn't carry this off nearly as well............

It just goes to show you how stoopid right-wingers are, because they are still sending him money.

5. You have to love the fact that the "great poet" he quoted
was actually the Pokemon song.

10. I do hear you on that...
we failed to take seriously the ridiculous candidacies of Reagan and Bush and they were disastrous for our country.

There's a difference though. They took themselves seriously. It remains to be seen if Cain does.

And I agree: the freak show is in full swing!

But ya gotta have a little fun with it...at least in my book.

11. Raygun was not
funny. I just don't trust the willfully ignorant of this nation. And sexual harassment isn't funny to me. I've had my share and it's not funny.

Cain is a father fucker that needs to be stopped. He is dead-on serious about being prez.

I am not laughing.....you must be young and didn't have to live through Nixon, Raygun, and Bush 1. Clinton wasn't even decent...best repugnant prez ever. I'm amazed I have survived this hell on Earth.

OWS is the best thing that has happened since the '60's. I have waited my entire life for a movement like this. Maybe I'll move south for the winter and OWS in a southern city.

Maybe Colbert can make me laugh...

15. You are writing in "NONE OF THE ABOVE", and you're worried
about how much your are to endure in this fucking country? Looks like whatever you end up having to endure, you will have helped that along.

I didn't expect this to be a serious proposition -- that the Cain campaign is a planned joke, or "performance art" as Maddow puts it

But she makes an excellent point, and backs it up with a long list of examples
