An hilariously effective mockery of the two sides of Mitt Romney - the one that speaks out of both sides of his mouth at the same time. The Democratic National Committee is offering up a major ad campaign attacking the former Massachusetts governor's inability to stick to a point of view - on any issue.

The spot will air on broadcast and cable television in 6 battleground states, playing the obvious anti-Romney message -- that Mitt will twist himself into any position at any time, if it helps him become president.

Short. Brilliant. Effective.

_____

My guess is the GOP really, REALLY doesn't want Mitt in the picture at the end of their primary, because this is the very thing he has waiting for him in the general election.

1. We could say this about all the Repuke candidates
"The Gop doesnt want him in the picture"Democrats could run similar ads for all these corporate puppet candidates
All here we have this Gingrich guy who left Congress because he lied receiving $350,000 in inappropriate funds that wasn't for his campaign chest..And now this guy is the best the Repukes have to offer.
...These are the type of candidates a Major Political party runs when they know they have no chance in hell of winning but yet they have Obama dead even with most of them..Something is wrong or they are counting for Diebold for half of the votes in all toss up states.

8. The fact that Newt gave advice to Romney on his plan is poetic justice.

3. those are the two things most know about him for his flip-flops but my complaint is that isn't tough
If they wanted to be tough, call him a lying sack of crap politician in a fancy tie with televangelist hair, who's willing to say and do anything from season to season to get his way to the top while counting his enormous wealth gleamed from invading companies, tightening the noose on them financially and reaping massive profits. Then, when the company collapses, he and his investors flee it, sending thousands into the streets looking for employment!

He's a dirtbag pol who I believe did whatever it took to make money off a company that was doing well, and then destroyed the well-being of its workers within a few years... Oh, and he's part of a cult, in my opinion.

Enjoy some Doublemitt Gum, it's double the fun!

4. "this is the very thing he has waiting for him in the general election" ...
in today's (allegedly) "liberally-biased media"? They'd claim it's more fake than an ACORN "sting" video ...

5. Better examples
There were a lot of better examples to use, but I tell you what will absolutely keep the wackos at home next November is when he dials down the crazy talk in order to sound like a viable candidate in the general election. Right now the Mitt is giving the lunatic right what they want to hear, they'll feel betrayed when next fall he tries to take back some of the more insane statements he's made.

11. Beware the pre-emptive strike by Republicans. . .
Edited on Mon Nov-28-11 10:30 PM by Stargleamer
Before these ads run on stations nationwide, the Republicans will see this coming and put together ads "showing" that Obama is a flip-flopper. This way when the Democrats run commercials such as these, it will just seem like they're copying Republican ads, or that both candidates have "flip-flopped". To do so, they'll take Obama's words out of context and play them against other words taken out of context.

This they've been doing since the days of Tricky Dick and especially during the Rove era.
