Is it ok to slightly alter my surname on a resume
I have avoided posting online as my name is very uncommon and for personal reasons I do not want any details about myself public.

I have thought of changing a letter in my surname so I could post on Linkn and then submit resumes using that altered spelling. Might anyone know whether it is acceptable to slightly alter one's name when job hunting?
