i know this isn't the shadetree mechanics group
but it's a DIY group, so i'm posting here.

attempting a water pump, timing belt repair today on my subaru legacy 2.2L.

wish me luck, i'll probably be back late, greasy and tired, or frustrated and stranded...maybe all of them.

wheee.

2. This isn't the most active group on the board, you know.
That said, good luck on your endeavor. And did you know there is also an auto group? There might be folks there who will understand your plight! :hi:

4. Hey, been there, done that.... At least it's May?
You have my condolences and my best wishes for an easy repair; I had to do a water pump (no timing belt, since my car had a chain), thermostat and heater core on my 76 Buick in 1995 in July in Mesa, AZ. That SUCKED,

You have my best wishes (and really, slow replies don't mean a lack of popularity.)
