1. The finalists in Vanuatu are what made it less than interesting.
I think there were some potentially good competitors who were voted off early. Dolly might have been good to watch and the FBI agent as well, just to name two. As it was, it turned out to be the "battle of the rednecks". I haven't given up. I'm looking forward to the next one.

5. Dolly is a religious repub
so I guess she would have fallen into the redneck category, too (that's what I'd call her anyway). I read some of it on her bio at CBS.com plus somewhere else months ago. After I found that out I found her a little less interesting. :D

13. I am glad they were "rednecks"
good to get someone different.
Of course Scout wasn't a finalist, but she is far from a redneck..The Tulsa World had a long article about her. She is a very accomplished woman.

2. I really miss it
My weekly fix is gone!

I have Amazing Race to keep me going; it should be wrapping up about the time Palau starts. And a new Big Brother should be starting soon, as well.

3. I was wondering if you would mention Big Brother.

Not as compelling because the wild natural element isn't there,
but some of the same elements. (Backstabbing, plotting, etc.,
etc.).

4. I have a great strategy for Big Brother
It'll get you late in the game, at the very least.

Simply announce to everyone that you will vote the way the Head of Household wants you to vote. Doesn't matter who it is, you'll vote the way they want.

Who's going to boot a free vote?

7. You'll be a target so fast you head will spin.

Seriously.

#1,nobody likes a suckup. And #2, having no quasi permanent
seeming alliances makes you a wild card. And that makes
you vulnerable.

A good idea in theory, but I don't think it would work.

8. In Survivor it wouldn't work
But in BB it would.

1. You're not being a suckup. It's strategery.

2. Not a wild card if you can convince everyone you really will vote the way they want.

Nobody's giving up a guaranteed vote.

9. Only if it's a swing vote.

I guess I don't find this game as compelling. Survivor
is one of a kind.

I lost interest after Marvin left the last one. I couldn't
believe Cowboy lasted as long as he did. He was pretty much
using your strategy, right? And he didn't win.

14. Marvin tried to use my strategy
But ended up allying with a group. When that group went down, so did he.

Cowboy stuck to alliances.

Nobody's tried my strategy yet (I stole it from Flash over at SSS).

10. My wife and I wore black and sat in front of the dark TV for one hour
to mourne. Okay its not that bad, but I hate the time in between seasons.
I am looking forward to the Survivor 20. I can;t wait to see the changes in the first 10 minutes.

12. Happy to give you a laugh
What is truly sad about my life is that my wife did call me at 3:00 yesterday and ask me what we were going to do last night since survivor was not on. After figuring out how to unprogram the TIVO so not to record whatever CBS had on last night, we had a quiet dinner and talked about life outside the house. It was a nice change. But don;t worry, we will be back to Survivor in 6 weeks.

Always ignored Survivor before...but I was silly enough to let lazarus talk me into watching the new one...GAWD what's wrong with me, I watch way too much TV as it is!

If you're a member of Netflix, rent the first season, which is out on DVD. Then you'll understand why we're such big fans.

17. I'll watch it but I don't live for it....
I don't even record it if I have to miss. So I said Other...meaning I can live until the next show starts.

18. I finished watching season 1 again
The first season of Survivor was the best one. Many have tried to match Sue Hawk's final speech, but no one has ever been that dirty. I forgot how much I wanted Rudy to win. I HATED richard. I forgot how much I hated that man. He was such a huge pain in the ass.

Anyway, I can't wait for the new season.
