What Is Your Favorite Night of TV?
For me, it has quickly become Sunday night, just this season. We watch "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" first, then head up to our home theater to watch what's left of "Malcolm in the Middle" once Fox has finished butchering it. Then it's on to "The Simpsons", after that we watch "Arrested Development" and then "Desperate Housewives".

Sunday nights are definitely my favorite. Tuesday & Thursday are getting up there too.

Which night is yours?

1. Wednesday
The West Wing
Plus SCI-FI Channel's lineup (Ghost Hunters, Scare Tactics, Proof Positive and T.H.E.M)

Sunday is a close second mostly because of Arrested Development and Celebrity Poker Showdown.

2. Thursday and Sunday
Between my husband and I, these two night have the most shows that either he, I, or the both of us watch.

Sunday night: Cold Case and Extreme Makeover:HE (we record one), then my husband likes to watch Law and Order: CI (I don't like this one but like the two detectives) and then sometimes Boston Legal.

Thursday: Survivor!! Apprentice, and Without a Trace. My husband usually records CSI.

7. Monday night, CBS
Though I only watch the sitcoms. There are way too many "CSIs" on for me to keep track of. I'm just sorry that "The King of Queens" was moved to Wednesdays and that "Listen Up!" got such a prime spot. I usually cook dinner or feed the dogs while that one's on. There are so few nights of watchable TV left, these days, IMO. Most nights I turn to the news channels:shrug:

9. Sunday has Cold Case as well
It's a pretty good show. You can always tape it to watch on one of the crappy nights.

14. I don't have one night anymore.
Tuesdays used to be crazy in my house between 24 and Buffy and all the VCR shuffling we had to do. Ditto with Wednesday, when Angel was still on and Smallville and Law & Order were still semi-watchable. Not to mention the OC.

This season I don't have a favorite night anymore. Increasingly I find myself watching one show and then shutting the TV off and going on the computer or playing a video game. For instance I can't dive for the remote fast enough when Boston Legal comes on after Desperate Housewives. I guess Wednesday is still sort of "hot" night, I watch Lost and then flip to Comedy Central for South Park, Drawn Together & the Daily Show. But I don't lose sleep if I miss any of those shows. It could be because BitTorrent + DSL has spoiled me and anything I miss I just download the next day. But the majority of TV these days just has me going "meh".
