The NH forum and Gore
The word is out now that the Global Climate Change forum that Gore and Schwarnegger are "sponsoring" in NH is scheduled for Dec. 19. Last I saw, most of the Dems. had agreed to be present and McCain and Huckebee on the Rep. side had committed. In fact I saw one reference to the fact that McCain was now a "co-sponsor." Not sure whether that is accurate or not. As you may know, if you've been following that kind of news, there has been speculation that Gore wanted to remain above the presidential fray so that he could, hopefully, get all the presidential candidates to participate in this forum. Apparently, he wants them to commit to whatever steps come out of the Bali/UN conference on global climate change that started today. Also, as some of you suspect (or hope) that once this NH forum is over, there will be nothing holding Gore back from being a bit more partisan. I've mentioned in earlier posts that there may be some news coming out of NH as soon as this forum is over - not from Gore (as far as I know) but from people in NH. Keep your eyes open for the news, and, if you're so inclined, be ready to help with time and $$.

1. Thanks so much for the info
I've been wondering if this was going to come together. This is the one presidential forum that I won't miss. Do you know what the format will be?

3. Not sure about the format yet
My NH contact says he doesn't know the venue, time, or program for the forum yet. As soon as I know I'll post. In the meantime, if anyone wants to help the effort that will make some news after the forum, you can donate on the following ActBlue page: https://secure.actblue.com/contribute/entity/18577. I promise you, the money will go to a good cause.

4. Good news!
And same as Pastiche below, I have been ready to help for so long, I've forgotten when I wasn't waiting for Gore... or as some here call him now, Goredot.

Any and all news welcome on this front as you can imagine.
