Please help - I have extra large fonts that I can't get rid of.
I'm using Windows XP Professional.

I logged on earlier and all the icons and text on my desktop were suddenly larger than normal.

Then I got online and every page I open has extremely large fonts and images. Even my email is supersized.

I checked the settings in my control panel and everything is set to normal and the magnifier is disabled.

This apparently happened while I was shut down today. I haven't changed any settings or downloaded anything new recently, so I'm baffled.

Any help would be appreciated.

1. Try this
Right click on your desktop, select properties.

In the display properties window, select the Appearance tab

In the drop down box Font size: select Normal

If this doesn't work, try going to the Settings tab

Click on Advanced

In the drop down box DPI setting: select Normal size (96 DPI), click OK.

2. Thanks, but the settings were already normal. This is so strange, it
it looks like everything is magnified and I don't know why.

As I type now, the text box is taking up almost the entire screen! Weirdest glitch I've ever had.

5. Try ctrl + scroll for the font size
Go into display and change your screen resolution to try to get the display back to normal size.

If that doesn't work, put settings back on normal and swap monitors to rule that problem in or out.

3. I fixed it! It was the pixels. Somehow the setting changed and I just
reset to 1024 x 768. But thanks for your suggestion.
