Yeah, my son has started potty training!
:bounce:

Today I had him naked from the waist down all day (at home of course) to help 'remind' him to use the potty, and he made it to the potty every time! Well once there was a little trail of pee to the toilet, but hey, he was trying.

So happy, I am tired of laying out all the $$$'s for disposables and I am too lazy to do cloth these days. Plus he seems pretty pleased with himself, so we are all happy :)

1. I am so jealous :)
My 2 yr old daughter wont even go near the potty.. Well, she'll put her stuffed animals on it but if I even dare to put her on it she screams and tells me no.

If I let her run around half naked she'll do her business in the corner AND TELL ME ABOUT IT lol.. so I moved her potty down here in the living room and she still avoids it like the plague.

They say girls are easier to train than boys.. YA RIGHT. I had no problems with my son potty training.

2. Same experience.
My daughter was not interested in the potty. At all. I would give her a big cup of juice to drink, take her pants off, place the potty in a strategic place and wait. And wait. And wait. She could hold it for HOURS. Finally I would put a diaper on her so we could go out or for a nap and she would pee a gallon into it. I finally convinced her to use the potty, but she was never really happy about the change.

My son asked to use the potty the first time. After that I took his pants off at home, and he has been using it consistently since. He is very proud of himself, it is really cute :)

4. We had to resort to bribes for our daughter.
It was a combination of wearing "big girl" underwear and M&Ms for a successful use of the toilet. She trained earlier and overall more readily than her brother, but it was far from smooth.

3. Wow, I am impressed...
My son turned 3 in February, and he still has zero interest. We're trying to coax him a long, but he is not budging.

That is great news for you!
