Apparently google wants to irritate me or stupid freegans
Yeah, I killed the ads 'round here (bless you Adblock) but I still get some wierd ones in my gmail account. Past stinkers have included ads for turduckhen and exotic game meats, but in terms of shit that makes my head explode, this link to a news artice just may be the worst:

http://go.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=oddlyEnoughNews&storyID=12348955&pageNumber=0

excerpts:

Ross and Ash are about to dig in to a meal of chicken rogan josh, king prawn makhani and rice, chicken balti and naan bread followed by pineapple, strawberries and grapes for dessert.

All of which came out of a bin.

"Everything I eat comes from dumpsters," Ash says. "For me it's a logical lifestyle choice. It's such a natural thing to use up that waste."

...

Freeganism, derived from the words "free" and "vegan," is spreading to Britain from the United States, where one of its founding fathers, Adam Weissman, has set up a Freegan information Web site to persuade others to join him.

---------------------------------

LM's comments: okay, so you're fighting waste. Good for you. But there's nothing at all like veganism in an ethic that implies that dumpstered chicken is wasted food. Chicken isn't food at all, it's somebody's body, you jackass!!! :argh:

Holy shit I can't stand freegans.

1. Aye
Yes, the concept of "recycling" is a good one as it prevents waste. However I don't know where they get the idea of "vegan" from when they are consuming animal products. Only if these nitwits were eating a truly vegan diet could they honestly call themselves "freegans".

because it has to do w/ logic vs. insanity.
http://gmc.globo.com/GMC/0,,2465-p-M467430,00.html It takes a few seconds to buffer on high speed but it is worth a couple of minutes to see how schizophrenia is dealt with and the food sources available for the garbage diggers in 3rd world countries. Truly this is the lower end of the food chain for the human animal.

this woman has been doing this all her life. Haunting.
Sorry it is in portuguese, (made in Brazil) but the essence of the clip (1st five minutes is that basically logic is a product of civilization. This woman suffers from mental disease vs. the engineer on the large construction.)
is that logic, reasoning etc...spawns a "success" formula. If you have the patience to mull through to over the 5 minute mark, you see some absolutely incredudible scenes from the mental illness facilities where the homeless were taken to prior to 1980. They were simply locked up away from society. It has been a long and troubled road since that time. Much better in recent years.
