Sources -- Philadelphia Eagles expected to deal Kevin Kolb to Cardinals
Kevin Kolb moving from Philadelphia Eagles backup quarterback to the main man on another team was a hot topic before the lockout. It looks as if that talk finally could result in fulfillment of Kolb's wish.

Despite the delay, NFL sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that they still expect Kolb to be dealt from Philadelphia to the Arizona Cardinals by the end of the week.

In return, the Eagles are expected to get cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and a draft pick.

Kolb has been with the Eagles since 2007. He played well in relief of Donovan McNabb in 2009, and when McNabb was traded to the Redskins before the 2010 season, Kolb finally got his chance to start.

I've heard rumors of this all week, hoping the deal falls through. Rodgers-Cromartie despite the down season is a very good corner who won't have to take on the #1 duties if Patrick Peterson is as advertised. I also heard the Cardinals were offering a first round pick but this article doesn't specify.

1. I love the idea of Rodgers-Cromartie in Eagles green
plus he's got swagger, which that defense needs. The O has tons of it, the D too little.

5. Love this deal.
DRC, a 2nd round pick which will probably be pretty high, and now it sounds like we're bringing in Vince Young to be Vick's backup. I'm liking these moves so far.

3. 2nd?
I must say that Reed is one of the better dealers in the league.

He got my Phins for a 2nd for AJ Feeley.

4. Yep
"The Philadelphia Eagles have traded Kolb to the Arizona Cardinals for cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and a second-round pick in 2012" -- http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/6812979/arizona-cardinals-complete-trade-philadelphia-eagles-kevin-kolb

This might be an epic year in Philadelphia sports.
