Friends & Supporters:

As you all may know, in the coming days Washington Democrats will attempt to force through a $1 trillion dollar health care overhaul that will not only burden Americans with a mountain of new debt and higher taxes, but which also directly threatens the high quality of medical care that our system currently provides. Despite a clear and consistent message from the American people that we do not want and do not support a massive government takeover of our health care system, Democrats in Washington have made it clear that they will stop at nothing to implement their reckless and misguided agenda.

While there are countless components of this legislation that give cause for great concern, among them is the fact that the bill that his headed to the House of Representatives may permit for the federal funding of abortion. The House is preparing to vote on a version of the healthcare bill, which was previously passed by the Senate, and which contains language that even Democrats have admitted would “directly subsidize abortions.”

Regardless of your position on abortion, I think it’s clear that most voters in the 16th district do not want to see their tax dollars used to fund abortions through a government run healthcare program. To be clear, while the government takeover of healthcare is deplorable in its own right, the inclusion on language that permits the funding of abortions at taxpayer expense makes this bad bill even worse.

In the past week, Rep. John Boccieri has indicated that he is currently “undecided” about how he will vote on the health care legislation but that he is “encouraged” by the plan that Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi have put forth. As residents of the 16th district and as Americans, we must do all that we can to stop this horrific legislation from moving forward and to make certain that the Democrats in Washington, including John Boccieri, realize that we do not support their effort to implement a government takeover of healthcare and to use our tax dollars to fund abortions.

As Congress moves forward with its consideration of this bill in the coming days, I encourage you all to join me in voicing your concerns and to let John Boccieri know that he owes it to his constituents and to his country to oppose this bill.

Jim Renacci and the republicans in the 16th have nothing worry about, Boccieri is not undecided, he is going to screw the democrats and vote against the healthcare bill.

Obama, Pelosi, Reid & hundreds of caring democrats are teamed up fighting for healthcare reform, Boccieri is stabbing them in the back.

Boccieri also voted for the stupak amendment, despite voting against the healthcare bill.

If Bart Stupak were to abruptly die of a heart attack tomorrow, Boccieri is standing by ready to take over for Stupak to make sure that women will not get the help they need from their goverment, if they are ever faced with the most difficult decision of their lifetime.

Again Renacci & the republicans have nothing to fear, Boccieri is their boy against abortion.

The only people Boccieri will screw over to get ahead are fellow democrats, he is out to sabotage all the work they put in.

to congressman John Boccieri, to vote for the healthcare bill this time around.

If you vote for it, we'll let bygones be bygones and support your re-election.

If you vote against it, we will rally against you. If you think we are kidding look up Blanche Lincoln's fate in Arkansas.

Whatever your issues are with the health care bill, they can be addressed in amendments & resolutions, but you must support this bill.

This is the red meat from the work done by the democrats during the past year, don't kill the baby because it is not perfect...
