Gov. Ted Strickland tells supporters his running mate is Yvette McGee Brown
Source: Cleveland Plain Dealer

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Gov. Ted Strickland on Tuesday introduced the leader of a Columbus non-profit agency geared toward preventing child abuse as his running mate for his re-election bid.

The Democratic governor then set the course for his campaign. Drawing on the dismal economic condition gripping Ohio, Strickland tried to connect with the common man and families dreaming of better days.

At a rally at state party headquarters, Strickland introduced Yvette McGee Brown, founding president of the Center for Child & Family Advocacy at the Nationwide Children's Hospital and a former Franklin County juvenile court judge.

He noted that Brown, 48, was the daughter of a single, teenage mother with three children who worked two jobs. The governor also cited his own roots in rural Ohio.

1. I can't see Ted losing in November
Even if it does end up being an off year for Democrats. Kasich is about as uninspiring as is humanly possible.

2. Kasich spawned Ron Christie's political career. What does that tell you about him?
I remember Christie as a beginning staffer in Kasich's Washington office. I could see then he would be a massive a-hole.

5. no one saw Coakley losing to Brown either...
The odds of dems retaining - Gov, AG, Sec. of state & House, are pretty small.

Even the odds (no pun) of keeping two of the above don't look that good.

At present, I think Brunner is the only one of the above, that can easily get re-elected. But she is running for US Sen.
