2. Need to do more than that.
Go to the website and check out the contacts for State Central Committee. Of importance would be the District Chairs and Vice Chairs. Only contact the ones within your Congressional District. They are voting members. The State Central Committee's 4 top officers are also important contacts. If you belong to any of the caucuses they would be good too. In addition, don't forget your County Officers. They can influence the District Officers.

I know we need to do more.

but it won't hurt to hear it from more than one place.

...this is just a start. I don't expect it to be enough to complain to the Indiana dems. I've already contacted some people about things related to this. I plan to contact women here who are not in politics but who have national exposure about this issue... I want to ask them to speak out about this as a feminist issue.

And there's one person I know very well who used to serve in the local govt here who is PERFECT to talk to about this in terms of organizing local women who want to let them dems know what women think about this.

..and that's not even looking at contacting the local lgbt groups here, plus community radio and public radio. Bloomington has its own public service shows on community radio about issues in the community.
