WTF?

George Allen's pol career ended when he said ONE WORD>>>>>"Macaca" at the wrong Time/place...and it was "CURTINS"

Not so with Palin....from Tina Fey till today,,,she escapes with humor...they made her a joke instead...

I guess its GOP Desperation to find exciting new Leaders to replace out going members...

The Down to Earth Sheeple just don't know of being scammed. conned, and exploited....by none other than those on top of their very own hierchy...they are the minions lost in the smokey Haze of the GOP

Those hard core Pubs totally bought her story at the Convention and got smitten....Is this why she still is viewed as a viable Force in the GOP?

2. I don't know Palin still had a political career
Last I heard she was busy giving speeches and fighting with an 18-year-old boy.

4. I think Palin is God's gift, honestly
That stupid, stupid woman is gonna take the conservatives down to where they belong -- she is the Republican party's worst nightmare. A constant reminder that they are the party of superficial idiots, cultists, quitters

Her negatives are actually way too high for her to have a "political career" she's all about punditry and to the detriment of the toxic "Reagan Coalition" which I think is GREAT!

8. Hey if Slimeball Sarah makes a little money
Driving the GOP & conned-servatards into oblivion, I say, GREAT! She earned it....she's doing us a HUGE FAVOR by discrediting them into irrelevancy.

And the Freepers will have the pompoms out every step of the way.

It's really just TOO good, karma wise....

5. I think that even if Palin said something racist...
...it would be so incoherent that no one could prove it.

And she doesn't seem to be getting televised anymore, so we wouldn't get a chance to notice.

10. Ms Palin's base
doesn't care what she says. She's a woman, bless her heart. No woman can compete with a man intellectually. Every time she opens her mouth, she 1) proves that point and 2) makes them feel smart at the same time. She's everything they think a Good Christian Woman should be - not as smart as the 'morans' and easy on their eyes.

So, yeah, she will ALWAYS get a 'macacca free' pass - You Betcha!

11. The fact that you're willing to throw around the M-word
tends to belie itsw status as an offensive word.

Would you be so cavalier about the N-word?

12. The use of the term was not intended to be offensive but merely to
express the devastating effects of the use of it esp when cameras are rolling....IMHO.

The issue is Palins Pass.

13. Palin hasn't had a "macaca" moment.
Despite her obnoxious and smelly "real America," "pallin' around with terrorists, and "pro-America parts of America" rhetoric, she hasn't said anything unambiguously racist. She has said many thick and ignorant things, but George W. Bush's two-term presidency shows that America has a hearty appetite for that. She's also made any number of loony statements motivated by religion, but any sort of lunacy is respectable in America, so long as it's faith-based.

14. Yes,,,, I agree ....I had the opinion the term now has broader meaning
as in when a gaffe results in a meltdown during a campaigne..that has become the "Macaca Moment".

I guess I had too much coffee...
