6. Anyone care to recap? For me, the still AMC-less DUer (which I hope to remedy
this week)?

Pretty please? :D

8. I will do the best I can.
The show opens with the walkers in the barn being feed chickens, the chickens legs are broken.

Glen tells Dale about Lori being Pregnant and the walkers in the barn.

Dales confronts Hershal about the walkers and Hershal tells Dale that two of the walkers are family.

His wife and stepson, so he can't kill them.

Shane teachers Andrea how to shoot, and she is really good.

Later in the Shane and Andrea have sex the car, she grabs him.

Maggie and Glen go to town and Maggie is attacked in the drug store by a walker.

Glen really clubs the walker.

Maggie is angry and she gives Lori morning after pills, she takes them but then throws them up.

Rick finds the morning after pills and confronts Maggie about the baby.

Also about her and Shane being together after they thought Rick was dead.

Dale knows something happened between Shane and Otis.

9. thanks, texanwitch! I appreciate it; sounds like it was a good episode

Didn't anyone freak out about the walkers in the barn?

Did Lori throw the pills up on purpose?

How does Dale know/think that about Otis and Shane?

I'll also catch the televisionwithoutpity.com recap tomorrow... :hi:

15. Only Glen and Dale know about the walkers in the barn yet.
Edited on Sun Nov-20-11 11:55 PM by texanwitch
Lori took the morning after pills but then changed her mind and threw them up.

I got the Otis/Shane thing from the website, I always thought he knew better then Shane's story.

Dale confronts Shane, and Shane is looking really crazy.

20. Why would Lori not want the baby?
Is she afraid it isn't Rick's? I didn't see the episode (no cable service yet).

23. It's more about the difficulties of having a baby in a
world of zombies. Imagine trying to hide from a bunch of zombies (like in the first episode) with a crying baby.

26. A few other things
Edited on Mon Nov-21-11 07:46 AM by NewJeffCT
Andrea was great at hitting a stationary target, then Shane tried to teach her to hit a moving one and she did very poorly. Shane was basically an asshole to her, yelling at her, etc in an attempt to get her to focus while shooting. He even brought up Amy, which led to him apologizing later. However, she still couldn't hit a moving target. Later, when they went to the housing development, they were making their way back to the car and walkers were closing in. Shane was nailing them left & right, but Andrea kept missing. Finally, one was almost on top of her and Shane didn't shoot it so she could - and, finally, she nailed the moving target... and then she calmly proceeded to nail a bunch more before they left. On the way back, she was so excited that she grabbed Shane & they did it.

Also, Dale confronted Shane later on about him pulling his gun on Rick (back in Season 1) - Shane denied it, said Dale was crazy and that he loved Rick like a brother.

I know they went looking for Sophia, but why that particular location? I think I missed it.

14. They didn't go into town, they went to a housing development
Shane et al had been discussing where to search for Sophia, and they decided that she might have dropped the doll upstream from where it had been found, and then the doll floated downstream. So they asked a local what was upstream from that point, and he said a housing development was built up north on the road about 10 years ago.

18. I don't know if anyone knows this or not
some good sites to watch the episodes on are:

watchseries.eu or tv.blinkx.com and search walking dead

if giving out these sites is not allowed, I'll delete. Not sure on the exact rules.

19. This show is getting frustrating
It has been dragging so much this season. Lots of lollygagging going on. The ole farmer is busy working in his barn, on his fence, and Rick and crew are having some kind of camping vacation with time spent in the shooting range. No wonder he wants them to leave, so would I! "No guns!" OK, so can we get everyone together and have a day at the firing range? What? We don't want the "walkers" to hear the gun shots? Eh, who cares?

And Sophia's mom has to hang around and watch these slackers give excuses for why they aren't searching for her daughter.

Ugh.

22. Dale is VERY intuitive... and he had GUESSED from Shane's behavior...
.
.
.
... but is even more sure SOMETHING shameful went down after confronting Shane
(who admitted nothing -- but sure looked guilty).
.
Shane. Shane and the wife. Carl and Shane bonding. I just now caught "Shane".
.
EXCELLENT wrap-up, texanwitch!!!

I think they could have compressed the six episodes they've had into four.

That said, I'm ready for them to move off the farm. Too little action imo.

28. In the comics
they weren't at the farm that long, so I'm not sure why they're dragging it out when I expected so much more intensity in season 2.
