Protesters sit in at Congressional offices
By Ian Simpson | Reuters – 15 mins ago..

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Protesters brought their message about alleged economic unfairness to Capitol Hill on Tuesday, sitting in or outside several Senate and House offices.

Anti-Wall Street Occupy DC protesters joined demonstrators from other groups in legislative office buildings, and police arrested one protester at the office of U.S. Representative Vicky Hartzler, a Missouri Republican, for unlawful entry, a Capitol Police spokeswoman said.

Hartzler won election last year with the support of the conservative "tea party" movement.

"We've been monitoring activity all over the Hill," the police spokeswoman said.

3. Occupy Congress--with a good, old-fashioned sit-in!
Edited on Tue Dec-06-11 06:36 PM by meow2u3
The wait in line to speak to those "elected representatives" has become a sit-in. Those of us who dare take back the right to talk to our so-called representatives in person end up with the door slammed in our faces. It's time we show those creatures that we have a right to speak to the people we put in office, and too many of our congresscritters sell access to the highest bidders. Question is, will OccupyDC have the evidence to push for criminal corruption charges against the reps who shut out ordinary citizens while letting their corporate paymasters run their offices?

Notice how the cops arrested someone for "unlawful entry" for daring to protest a teahadist.

4. Poor IL Rep. Joe Walsh (Tea-Deadbeat) sneaked out side door to avoid
his constituents. Look what they made him do! Here's the video...someone even offered decaf coffee (reference to his screaming fit in a constituents face at his last meet & greet in IL).

He also announced he's going to run in a different district too.

6. caught that, too-- Reuters must think it will be sued for stating phrase without "alleged"
as if it's maybe not a fact there's economic unfairness going on in this country.
