Another poster talked about the dumb average American-one thing comes to my mind

Over 10 years ago Texas took critical thinking out of their school classes-seems to me the average American is not stupid just manipulated by the well to do and rich because they don't want you educated (note the horrible cost of acquiring a college education with forcing students to borrow for college with horrendous interest rates most low income students could hardly afford (one form of control by the well to do). I think the lower income are manipulated by their "superiors". The middle class who carries most of the tax burden is getting smaller and smaller, so the middle class needs to start opening their eyes if they think they won't be next
