General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsYesterday there were a couple of posts about messaging and one shading Morning Joe
I posted on the one that I thought there was a lot of good messaging from Democratic House Reps
I also disagreed with an opinion on another thread that MSNBC morning show was some pejorative.
I understand that I once hated Joe
and Willie Geist. As I did Nichole Wallace and Steve Schmidt. And
Charlie Sykes. Cant forget him.
But as others have changed so have the following.
Joe S still is a huge gas bag that wont let others speak, but he admits that himself.
Still the messaging on Morning Joe is clearly
.. great.

I don't mind hearing conservative points of view. I do mind being served extreme RW lies and propaganda, especially foreign propaganda, from media and hosts, such as those at Fox, Newsmax, OAN, etc.

Had Cheeto had to face the challenges Carter faced, he would've gone down in Argentina-style riots.
Carter, instead, popped the OPEC price bubble - thus paving the way for the "Reagan recovery."

(21,879 posts)But yes - some do tend to forget that Joe has become a steadfast and powerful voice for good governance in general, and more often than not for Democrats.
His anecdote about the way Gingrich's goons brow-beat him into voting for Clinton's impeachment - portraying it as they did as a vote "for American values and Jesus Christ" (!) - was especially effective.
Because he dovetailed it perfectly into the way they're now stumbling all over themselves to cover for a walking Petri dish and national security threat like Trump.
That was great commentary, and I appreciate you posting it for those of who missed it.
